This is 20% off of the 2007 price. I think that probably represents something in mid or early 2005 territory which is a bit higher than the late 2004 territory we have been seeing on other transactions.
This is really not a very good house. It just proves again the strength of SM and Ocean Park in particular.
ReplyDeletei guess it's all relative, but losing $295,000 in 4 years doesn't seem very strong to me. I generally try to actually earn money on my investments...
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side, you did better sticking your money in here than you would have storing your money in an index fund over the same period.
ReplyDeleteThe only long investments people haven't gotten killed on since 2007 are gold and t-bills.
