I last featured this house back in July 2009 when I had noticed that RealtyTrac showed it was going to auction.
I'm not sure what ever happened and Property Shark doesn't show that the bank took it back (maybe their records are slow to be updated). But this property is now listed on the market as a foreclosure so we have to assume the bank is in control now.
The photos don't appear to show any major problems and given the price they are asking, I think this will generate a good amount of attention and likely sell near or above list price. Still interesting to see an actual foreclosure in a proper 90402 location since there haven't been many.
Per Redfin, this home was foreclosed on 1-14-11 for $1,950K. The listing realtor was among the first to handle foreclosed properties as the current debacle unfolded.
